Peripheral Artery Disease is a common but often under-recognized vascular condition caused by a buildup of plaque in the arteries that reduces blood flow to the legs and feet. Know the Signs of PAD
Patients should speak with a healthcare provider if they experience:
• Pain, aching, or cramping in the legs while walking
• Coldness, numbness, or weakness in the feet or legs
• Changes in skin color or shiny skin on the lower legs
• Weak or absent pulse in the feet
• Wounds on the legs or feet that are slow to heal or do not heal at all
