AviaGames, the leader in casual, skill-based games, has officially revealed the 8 Ball Strike Cup, the premier in-game championship tournament for the free mobile pool game, 8 Ball Strike, as part of Avia’s wider partnership with the Argentine Football Association (AFA). As Avia’s first tournament of this caliber, its Championship will feature commentary from well-known creators Troydan and Venom.
Starting on June 12, players can join the 8 Ball Strike Cup to showcase their precision and strategy for ultimate prizes! The tournament will feature a total prize payout of $30,000 in cash rewards and $50,000 in in-game Bonus Cash, which will both be shared amongst the top 8 players in the playoffs. The champion will win $10,000 cash and a signed jersey from AFA players and football legends, Lionel Messi, Enzo Fernández and Julián Alvarez.

On July 16-17, the tournament’s Championship will be livestreamed and hosted by popular video game creator and entertainer, Troydan, who has amassed over 5 million social media followers; Florian Kohler, known globally as Venom Trickshots, a world-renowned trick shot artist, billiards entertainer, and creator with over 2 million social media followers and Katie Bedford, esports host and commentator. Players can tune into the livestream on 8 Ball Strike‘s Facebook and Venom and Troydan’s YouTube channels.

The 8 Ball Strike Cup features a multi-stage competitive format in which the top 32 group champions compete for the title. More details on each stage are below:
- Group Stage (June 12 – June 25) – All players will start the competition in groups and be ranked according to cumulative winnings, with the top 32 in each group advancing to the next stage.
- Playoffs (June 26 – July 5) – Players will launch a single-loss 1v1 knockout match in their respective groups. Each round is a Best-of-5 (BO5) series. The top 1-8 players in each group will receive Bonus Cash rewards. The group champion will advance to the Championship stage.

Championship (July 16 – July 17) – 32 group champions will gather to compete in the Championship and compete in a 1v1 single-elimination bracket. Each round is played in a Best-of-5 (BO5) format, with players competing for their share of the Championship prize pool, the tournament title, and the champion-exclusive signed Argentine National Team jersey. The Championship will be livestreamed with the following schedule:
- July 16: Round of 32 and Round of 16
- July 17: Quarterfinals, Semifinals, Finals & 3rd Place Match
