Morse Micro, the world’s leading Wi-Fi HaLow silicon provider, today announced that Vantron Technology has joined its Design Partner Program. Vantron already builds Wi-Fi HaLow modules, dongles, and gateways on Morse Micro silicon. Customers no longer need separate vendors for the module, the hardware, and the software. Vantron now delivers all three as one finished Wi-Fi HaLow product.
Morse Micro’s Design Partner Program connects design houses, system integrators, and developer groups with the silicon, tools, and support to bring Wi-Fi HaLow products to market quickly. Vantron has been building on Morse Micro silicon for years, full product design is the next stage of that relationship. With over two decades of experience in embedded technology, Vantron designs and builds embedded boards, industrial routers, displays, and rugged tablets. Its Wi-Fi HaLow portfolio, spanning both the MM6108 and MM8108 chipsets, already includes system-on-modules, dongles, and gateways.
“Vantron has been building on our silicon for years. Joining our Design Partner Program is an exciting next step for our partnership,” said Michael De Nil, co-founder and CEO of Morse Micro. “A customer can now hand Vantron a requirement and get back the finished product, module included and tightly integrated with the hardware and software.”
Vantron operates globally through entities in the United States, China, Germany, Singapore, and the United Kingdom, supported by engineering teams and a global manufacturing network. With more than 200 engineers and over two decades of embedded technology experience, the company serves customers worldwide across industrial manufacturing, digital energy, retail, agriculture, healthcare, and other connected industries, including Fortune Global 500 companies.
“Joining Morse Micro’s Design Partner Program allows us to take our Wi-Fi HaLow capabilities beyond individual connectivity products and deliver complete, application-ready solutions,” said Bo Wei, CEO of Vantron Technology. “By combining our MM6108- and MM8108-based product portfolio with embedded system design, software integration, customization, and global manufacturing, Vantron can support customers from initial concept through certification and volume production. Together with Morse Micro, we aim to make long-range, low-power Wi-Fi connectivity easier to adopt across industrial and IoT applications.”
Morse Micro continues to see strong interest from design houses worldwide. Vantron is the fifth Design Partner to join Morse Micro’s program in the 5 months since it was announced at Embedded World in Germany. Vantron joins Gateworks, VPI Technology, CA Engineering, and Pace Wireless in the program, bringing long-range, low-power, and reliable wireless performance to industrial IoT, Edge AI applications, smart infrastructure, security, utilities, agriculture, and more.
