COACHELLA VALLEY, CALIF. — August 21, 2026 — “MIGHTY” Brook Sibrian delivered a statement victory Friday night, defeating unbeaten MVP world-ranked prospect Lupita Medina by unanimous decision in an eight-round minimumweight bout at Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California.

The fight was part of the Most Valuable Promotions (MVP) x TikTok LIVE event, which reached 1.2 million viewers on TikTok LIVE.

Medina entered the bout with a perfect 12–0 record and three knockouts, making her debut on the MVP platform as one of the event’s undefeated prospects.

Sibrian ended that perfect record.

The Coachella Valley contender controlled the fight with relentless pressure, high-volume combinations and damaging power punching, attacking both the body and head while preventing Medina from establishing a comfortable rhythm.

After eight rounds, the judges scored the bout 77–75, 78–74 and 78–74, awarding Sibrian a clear unanimous decision and handing Medina the first loss of her professional career.

The victory moves Sibrian to 10–3 with four knockouts and adds another significant name to her résumé as she continues her pursuit of a world championship.

SIBRIAN PETITIONS FOR MAJOR RANKING MOVE
Following the victory, Sibrian’s team has formally petitioned the major sanctioning bodies for significant upward movement in the world rankings, including consideration for a top-two position and, where applicable, consideration for the ranking position previously held by Medina.

WBO — #7 Minimumweight
WBC — #13 Minimumweight
