Learning Tree Academy hosted a campout-themed week at the Succasunna location during the week of August 3, 2026. The academy shared images and video of the activities on social media, describing a week of exploring, playing, and pretend camping that included tents, campfire-style experiences, and nature-inspired projects.
The activities took place during regular program hours in the academy’s classrooms and outdoor areas. Teachers supervised children as they used tents, flashlights, and nature materials for pretend play and group experiences. The theme was presented as an age-appropriate way to introduce outdoor ideas in a familiar, supervised setting. The event was an on-site classroom and playground theme, not an overnight trip away from the facility.
