Berlin, German, Sept. 09, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — HIZERO achieved an exciting leap forward at IFA 2026, attracting strong interest from industry experts and buyers worldwide, earning three independent innovation honors, and unveiling a comprehensive range of no-suction hard-surface cleaners.
The company’s new hero product, the HIZERO GLIDE (R700), received recognition as a 2026 IFA Innovation Award Honoree in the Best in Smart Home category. It also won the AH Best of IFA 2026 Award as well as the Digital Trends Publisher Award – IFA 2026 Innovation Winner.

“The awards reinforce HIZERO’s challenge to a category built around vacuum mechanics,” said CEO and founder Sam Li. “At one of the world’s largest tech trade shows, we saw a huge surge of interest in our new comprehensive range of no-suction hard surface cleaners which sent a clearcut message that the dominance of vacuum-based hard-surface cleaning is coming to an end.”

Mr. Li noted that for decades, appliance manufacturers have relied on suction to collect dry debris and mopping systems to tackle wet messes. Combining those functions can create well-recognized problems ranging from overly noisy motors, exhaust-air blowback, tangled hair and unpleasant sludge stemming from solids and liquids entering the same waste chamber.
Hizero takes a boldly different approach. The company’s patented No Suction Technology™ uses a high-density bionic polymer roller – inspired by the licking action of a dog’s tongue – to collect debris and liquids mechanically. An integrated scraper continuously removes dirty water from the roller, while solid debris, hair and liquids are directed into separate compartments.

This real-time process cleans the roller with clean water throughout the cleaning operation, helping prevent contaminated liquid from being spread back across the floor.
In a world first, the Hizero GLIDE robot brings the proprietary technology to autonomous cleaning. It continuously cleans its roller while moving across a hard floor, separates solid debris, liquids and hair onboard, and operates without the noise or exhaust airflow of a high-speed vacuum motor. Unlike many robot vacuum-and-mop systems, the Glide does not need to interrupt every cleaning cycle simply to wash its cleaning head at a base station.
Visitors to IFA visitors were also able to test the HIZERO EAZY, a power-free manual cleaner that sweeps, washes and dries – efficiently replacing the need for the ages-old traditional bucket and mop or modern variants. A trigger in the handle releases fresh water as required, with no motor, charging cable, bucket or floor-cleaning chemicals needed.
“Our driving mission is to help people spend less time on chores to clean their homes and instead win more time to enjoy life,” said Sam Li, Founder and CEO of HIZERO. “Meaningful innovation does not come from trying to improve an old technology by adding heavier motors and louder fans. It comes from questioning the old ways of doing things and innovating better solutions.”

GLIDE and EAZY join Hizero’s AURA and F-Series cordless floor cleaners and the compact HIZERO HANDY, which simplifies cleaning windows, mirrors, countertops and other hard surfaces. Together, they form a fast-expanding twenty-first century ecosystem for quieter, cleaner, and more efficient everyday hard surface care at home, work and play.
