Jet Direct Mortgage will host Paw-ktoberfest: Heroes, Hops & Paws, a community fundraiser benefiting Paws of War
ST. JAMES, NY, UNITED STATES, September 9, 2026 /EINPresswire.com/ — Jet Direct Mortgage will host Paw-ktoberfest: Heroes, Hops & Paws, a community fundraiser benefiting Paws of War, on Saturday, October 3, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at The Stone Goat, 552 North Country Road in St. James.
The Oktoberfest-inspired event will bring the community together for an afternoon in support of Paws of War and its work helping veterans, active-duty service members, first responders and animals in need.
Paws of War is a Long Island-based nonprofit organization that provides a variety of services to members of the military and first responder communities. Its programs include rescuing and training shelter dogs to become service and companion animals for veterans, helping service members bring animals they rescued while deployed overseas back to the United States, and providing other assistance designed to support veterans and their pets.
For Jet Direct Mortgage, Paw-ktoberfest is an opportunity to support an organization whose mission has made a meaningful difference in the lives of veterans and their families.
