Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips celebrates World Kindness Day with classroom kindness activities and free family consultations on early education.

At Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips, kindness isn’t a one-day event, but World Kindness Day on November 13 is a great excuse to make a little extra noise about it. The early education school is spending the day celebrating the small, everyday acts of kindness that matter most to little learners, like sharing crayons, helping a friend clean up, and saying thank you without being reminded.
Throughout the week, students will take part in age-appropriate kindness activities designed to help them name their feelings, notice how others feel, and practice being a good friend. It’s a fun way to build the social and emotional skills that set young children up for success in the classroom and beyond.
“Kindness is one of the first and most important things children learn, and they learn it best by practicing it every day,” said Yliana, director of Ladybird Academy of Dr. Phillips. “World Kindness Day gives us a chance to celebrate that with our families and invite new families in to see what a caring classroom really looks like.”
To mark the occasion, Ladybird Academy is offering free consultations for families exploring early education options. Parents can meet with the school’s leadership team, tour the classrooms, and ask questions about curriculum, schedules, and enrollment.
