High Sweet Creamery is heading into its first full summer season in business on Moorpark’s historic High Street, following a soft opening in July and a full opening in August of last year. As the area enters its warmest and most active months, the creamery is gearing up for peak foot traffic and its busiest stretch since opening.
Since its summer debut, High Sweet Creamery quickly became a steady presence on High Street. Through the fall and winter months, the shop kept the community coming in with ice cream, fresh coffee, warm drinks, and baked treats. The Saturday cinnamon rolls, introduced for the winter season, quickly became a local favorite and are now a weekend tradition, often selling out early.
High Sweet Creamery is located on a prominent corner of High Street near the High Street Arts Center, in a space long associated with Moorpark’s history of neighborhood dessert shops. Property owners Jeff Brodsly and Danny Margolis worked with Saragoza to update the space while preserving its connection to the area’s past and its role as a destination for the community.
With summer approaching, High Sweet Creamery is expanding hours and introducing warm-weather ice cream flavors, rotating specials, and seasonal menu updates. The creamery expects strong foot traffic tied to downtown events, performances, and evening activity along High Street throughout the season.
High Sweet Creamery is one of several downtown projects supported by 100GROUP CEO Jeff Brodsly, who has been involved in the continued revitalization of Moorpark’s High Street business district. Both the creamery and 100GROUP’s headquarters are located on High Street, reflecting a broader investment in local economic activity and long-term business growth in the area.
“High Street has always been the heart of Moorpark, and it’s exciting to see it continue to grow and come alive,” said Jeff Brodsly, CEO of 100GROUP and co-owner of the property. “High Sweet Creamery was created to be a place where people can slow down, gather, and enjoy being part of the community. Seeing it enter its first full summer season here feels like an important step in the continued revitalization of downtown.”
High Sweet Creamery looks ahead to the coming months as an opportunity to build on its first year in operation and continue establishing itself as a staple along Moorpark’s High Street.
